Add Therapy (New Patient) – ReX Platform Help Center

Overview

Setting up a patient on ReX requires a relevant prescription. Go to the ReX Therapy Manager and personalize a therapy template. Once the flow is completed, a code is generated and connects all the therapy data to the ReX Digital Nurse.

Getting Started

In the ReX Therapy Manager, on the left-hand side, you will find the navigation. Click on Patients.
Find and click on the 'Add Therapy' button.

Creating a New Patient

Step 1 - Patient Details

To complete this step, add all required patient details

Step 2 - Therapy Setup

To create a therapy, enter the prescription medication and dosage. The rest of the fields will be completed automatically based on the therapy template. Personalize the dose times for your patient and complete the Refill Schedule sections

Select <Medication name> then <Dosage>
Select <Dose window> i.e. the time the patient would like to take their pill
Confirm <Late Dose Rules>
Press <Next>

Step 3 - Guide Content and Rules

The guide questions come associated with the therapy template. You can remove questions so they will not be directly asked of the patient. However, the patient can voluntarily answer those questions from their ReX

Step 4 - Health Care Practitioner

Adding a health care practitioner assures the patient's care team will receive relevant patient alerts. You may add from an existing list of practitioners, or add someone new.

Step 5 - Review

Review the personalized therapy plan and edit any missed or incorrect fields if necessary. Make sure to click "I have reviewed..." at the bottom of the page

Note: After you've selected 'Done' and the 8-digit code is generated, all changes are final. If you would like to assign a new therapy, you will need to Remove the current therapy

Step 6 - Therapy code is generated
