I have young kids. They’ll probably break it or even try to use it.
ReX is completely personalized. To start using it you will be given a code which will be known only to you. Then, in-between pill takes, ReX will lock and even if fiddled with by children, will not release a pill. ReX is quite sturdy and can withstand reasonable stress/shock as long as it doesn’t get soaked in water or rinsed.
Remember ReX will hold your medication inside, and therefore you will naturally protect it from your children in the same way you would protect them from your regular medication pack.

I have weak lungs. I don’t want to exert myself.
ReX was designed to be used by patients with a multitude of conditions. Many patients have weak lungs from various conditions such as asthma, bronchitis or pneumonia, and also from pulmonary conditions such as CF or pulmonary fibrosis. We do have experience with patients with very weak lungs who have been using it successfully for prolonged periods of time. You are offered this program since we think you are suitable. When you first receive ReX it will show you how to draw pills in an effective way.
In addition, ReX will allow you to record any changes in your lung capacity and this information will also reach your healthcare team.

I’m new on this medication, I don’t want this now.
New patients are those who can benefit the most out of ReX. The reason is that when you take a new medication, it is likely that you will experience side effects. Light or severe, your healthcare team has to know of every side-effect (when it happened, how severe it was, how long it lasted etc) so that they can take timely decisions as to the right dose (which they may decide to change), the combination with other medications you may be taking, and even whether this is the right therapy for you. They may also choose to suggest additional medications to alleviate side effects. So actually this timepoint is the most critical and suitable time for you to join the ReX program.
