Overview
With so many patients on active medications within your given Therapy Manager, it is reasonable to wonder if you might duplicate a patient and assign them to two different therapies at the same time
Our ReX Platform has built in safeguards against this happening
Instructions
- In the side panel select <Patients> and then <Search> and search for your patient by name.
- If you do not find the patient or if you do not search for the patient, our system will check for an existing patient as you enter the patient details
- Under <Assign new therapy> if you enter the patient details First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth, and they are matched by a patient already in the system, the Therapy Manager will alert you that the patient might already exist and you will be asked to confirm either that the patient already exists or that you are creating a new patient
- Note: The Therapy Manager does not check for patient duplication until you have entered first and last names and DOB
