Overview
Every patient has, in their profile, the HCP(s) attached to them in the ReX Therapy Manager. Any team member can edit which HCPs are attached to which patients. Only the HCP linked to the patient can receive alerts regarding the patient's guide responses, questions they might have, or missed doses, and receive Progress Summaries
Where to view the HCP
- Sign in to the ReX Therapy Manager
- To the left, click on the dashboard option <Patients>
- Once you can view the "Patient" page, <Search> for your patient by name
- On the center left vertical menu, click on <Health Care Practitioners>
- You will be shown the HCPs connected to a patient. Their title, name, email, and potentially a phone number will be listed
Changing or adding a connected HCP
Continuing from step 4 above
- Enter the <Health Care Practitioner> page
- On the right hand side of the screen, press the purple oval that says <Manage>
- A side panel will appear on the right hand side of the screen
- If there is an HCP already connected to the patient, they will be listed by name
- Note: there will be a checked box underneath the HCPs name that says <Include> If you uncheck that box, the HCP will no longer be connected to the patient
- To add another HCP, in that same side panel from step 2, click on <Add Another>
- The first cell will say <Practitioner type> Selecting a practitioner type will call up all HCPs in the system with that type in their profile.
- Note: if the HCP you are looking for does not exist, you can, in the field <Full Name> select <Add New> and manually enter the HCP you want attached to the patient. This would be the same as adding a new care team member in the Care Teams page
- Once the care team member is selected or the new one is added, make sure the <Included> button is checked for that HCP to start receiving alerts.
- Note: that HCP will now appear as an optional recipient of a Progress Summary
- Note: Care team members that have access to the Therapy Manger still have control over which types of alerts they receive. If you are not receiving alerts how you would like, see the article Account Settings - ReX Therapy Manager
